We are so lucky to have this hidden gem of a restaurant so close. I ordered the egg-kimchi pancake-so wonderful and the veg dumpling ramen and asked for a little spiciness. Husband had the seafood ramen - spicy, it was perfect. The wonderful couple who run the restaurant have created a casual ambiance in a small dining room. It is clean with pop/current music playing. We sat and had food and green tea brought to us. We try to make this our special monthly date night!
Great nice place. Run by very nice Korean man. Place is always clean. The food is varied and done well. Prices are very reasonable as well. 5 stars all around, a real gem for the area.
My coworkers and I had a great lunch here today. Their sushi is fresh and everyone was satisfied. Collectively we had beef ramen, veggie dumpling ramen and seafood ramen all spicy level. The broth was great, but I wish it was a tad spicier (may just be my preference as everyone else remarked how spicy it was). The ramen mine came with was a tad underdone but not a big deal. We also tried the edamame which was good, seaweed salad and sushi rolls. I had a simple spicy salmon which came with the spicy mayo. The fish was fresh and I can't complain. My coworker got the dynamite roll and really enjoyed it. I like the selection of lunch options. This is now in our rotation for work lunch places and I'm glad we chose it! Thanks 40 west!
Food is great. Had a goyza. Appetizer.. I had the spicy loco moco very tasty. My girlfriend had the shrimp curry rice tried it's great. It's a little hard to find but worth it.
So good- the food at this place is delicious and top notch! The owners are so sweet and always spot on with pick up times. We love getting the Loco moco and the spicy Korean BBQ sandwich. If you want some awesome food, definitely stop in!
What a pleasant surprise to finally find Kimbap (and so much more) close enough to run out for pickup during weekday work lunch. The kimbap options are 50/50 vegetarian & meat/seafood with options for a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Clean, friendly and quick service. Now I'm tempted to try everything on the menu as a weekly treat
The owners were sweet. Food was great! I was surprised by how much sushi they gave us. Usually, I only get 6 pieces at other places. Definitely get the dynamite roll if you're feeling spicy !
I enjoy hole in the wall cafes like this Came here since the reviews were good and we wanted to try something new. Place is tucked away in a plaza with a big sign advertising lawyers and other specialists. Place looks like a small house, with a few seats inside. You order at the counter, menus are on full display and lots of options are available. The place is a mom and pop operation, with the lady making the helm while the guy does the cooking. The food is awesome, well done and cooked properly. For negatives, the potstickers were deef fried rather than pan fried. That and the Korean fried chicken wasn't tempura battered and seemed frozen. The flavors were solid and well done. The spicy Kani salad and the special roll had a good spice kick to them. The flavors were pronounced and not overwhelming. Everything was done well and tasted awesome. I will be back again, and if you're in the area this is a very valid option to choose

I found this place on Yelp when I was craving Korean food and decided to give it a try with friends. It's run by a couple who take your order at the counter and then cook in the kitchen all by themselves, which was very wholesome. The menu is quite large but we all decided to go for some variation of the combo meal with choice of potato or kimchi fried rice, and fried chicken or bulgogi. The combos came with miso soup, which was undrinkably salty. However, the rest of the meal was pretty good and definitely satisfied the craving. We also got some kimbap which was absolutely delicious. The iced coffee was fantastic as well. The restaurant is very hard to find because it's hidden behind another building, but once you find it the ambiance is quite nice.
